Volunteer for the Western Southern Tennis Open Championships and Help the Pantry!

We truly appreciate all you do for the Pantry, and here is one more way you can help bring in additional funds for the Pantry in a way that is quite different! And…you can help the Pantry raise hundreds of dollars. You can volunteer with your spouses, kids, friends, other family, and church members and make it a memorable and fun day while doing good!

The Western Southern Tennis Open Championships are held in August in Mason, across from Kings Island, and they are looking for volunteers. The Pantry will receive a direct donation from Levy, the company that handles all the hospitality during the event. The dates are Thursday, August 15, Friday, August 16 and Sunday, August 18. Registration closes on Friday, May 31 st , so you will need to contact Pantry Board Member, Becca Desai a 513-560-0581 or bfdesai@aol.com with questions and to lock in your spot.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

CULINARY: Volunteers are needed on August 15 or 16, to work a whole shift, which is 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Levy will make a donation of $90 to the pantry for the 7 hour shift, and $13/hour for anything over 7 hours.

Responsibilities: Help chefs in the kitchen with tasks assigned by the chefs. No cooking, but cutting, cleaning, chopping, washing dishes, getting items from the fridges and freezer, arranging the food on trays, etc.

TENT ATTENDANT: Volunteers are needed on August 18 from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Levy will make a donation of $120 for 12 hours or less, depending on when they let volunteers leave.

Responsibilities: Wait on guests, serve them coffee, food, set the tables, clean tables, etc.

Note: Volunteers must wear black pants and black shoes and hair must be tied back.
