New Program Launched at Kroger

The Kroger Company, one of the best known grocery stores across America has launched a new program called Zero Hunger | Zero Waste. This is “Kroger’s bold new plan to end hunger in our communities and to eliminate waste across our company by 2025” and the Fairfield Food Pantry is proud to become a part of this program.

Our Pantry has been selected to become one of the many recipients of Kroger’s new and bold program. While the program is just being launched, this will certainly provide immediate benefit to our local community.

Pantry representatives will pick up items from the Deli, Bakery, Produce, and Meat departments every Monday, Tuesdays and Thursday at 8am. These items will be made available to our patrons immediately upon arrival back to the Pantry. Be sure to check out this great program!
